Volunteers
As Christians we are called to offer ourselves freely to serve God. The apostle Paul writes, "Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord." (1 Corinthians 12:4-5) Sometimes the church calls individuals to be paid staff to carry forth certain responsibilities. But at all times, the church calls men and women to serve in a variety of ways. We all have gifts and talents to be used according to the call of God. If you'd like to discern where God may be calling you to serve at church or in the community, please contact us. We'd be happy to discern your calling together.
Church Opportunities: Sunday School Teachers, Lay Readers, Musicians, Presbyterian Student Center at GSW, Wednesday Night Suppers Servers, Lay Ushers, Community Services Ministry, Campus Ministry Volunteers, Dust Busters- Sanctuary Cleaning, SAMA Food Pantry.
